MISSION STATEMENT

The State Games of America is a proud part of the intricate network comprised of the United States Olympic Committee, National Congress of State Games and all of the State Games in the United States. The high standards set by these organizations remain precedent and at the forefront of our mission.

The SGA mission includes the following objectives:

• Provide wholesome avenues for positive, personal development through sports and physical activity.

• Recognize dedication and achievement for all involved.

• Promote a statewide program of amateur-athletic competition based on medal winners of NCSG-member events.

• Promote participation in amateur sports by citizens of all ages and skill levels.

• Promote better overall health and fitness among citizens.
