SECURITY &
ALTERNATE VENUES
Alternate venues are in place for
sporting facilities that have the potential to become off-limits
in the event of
heightened security across the United States. Should the need
arise, the change in venues will be publicized on
our web site.
Security requirements for
the U.S. Air Force Academy and Fort Carson are listed below:

All drivers must be
prepared to present their driver’s license, vehicle registration
and vehicle insurance at the gate.

All persons entering the
venue are subject to search
-
All personal belongings
are also subject to search
The following items are
NOT permitted in any venue:

Weapons, Firearms,
Fireworks
-
Backpacks (Infant carrier
packs permitted if infant is present)
-
Bags larger than 11 x 11 x
8 inches. All hard-side briefcases
-
Diaper bags are permitted
if infant is present
-
Binoculars, cameras and
video cameras/with appropriate bags are permitted, as are purses
and fanny packs
-
Hard-side Coolers
-
Any type of sticks, poles
or umbrellas (including signs attached to sticks)
-
Nontransparent items such
as: glass bottles, soda cans, thermos bottles
-
Bota Bags, Wine Skins or
Camel Packs
-
Alcohol of any kind
-
Artificial noisemakers of
any kind
Animals/pets - unless they are certified service dogs for
patrons with disabilities
-
Skateboards, roller
blades, shoes with wheels
-
Laser Pointers
-
Confetti
-
Beach Balls, Balloons, or
other inflatable items
ATHLETES ONLY
Athletes are permitted to have drink containers, equipment,
and/or clothing bags. These items must be taken directly to team
areas and are subject to search.
The Air Force Department of Athletics and Fort Carson would like
to thank all persons for their cooperation with these
requirements so that all of our fans can have a safe and secure
experience.
