Note: Age determination date in all divisions is August 3, 2007.

General Information: Open to amateurs only. Singles competition in six divisions: Juniors (girls and boys in one division determined by age, both divisions limited to the first 32 paid entries); Open Men (limited to the first 128 paid entries); Open Women (limited to the first 32 paid entries); Senior Men (limited to the first 32 paid entries); and Senior Women (limited to the first 16 paid entries). For the Scotch Doubles, each partner must register separately, this is limited to the first 16 entries.

Competition Rules and Format: Double-elimination 8-ball-ACS/BCA rules will govern the tournament (www.americancuesports.org, www.bca-pool.com and www.wpa-pool.com); Races to 5 (Men's Divisions); Races to 4 (Women's/Junior's Divisions); Scotch Doubles can be composed of any male/female - Races to 4/3; flip for opening break, alternating break. Competition on 3 ½ by 7 foot tables. Tables are $0.50 per game. Individuals may enter only one singles division. Coaching will not be permitted in any division.

Speed Pool / Mini-Tournaments: $5 Mini-Tournaments for all divisions (on-site entry only) will be conducted beginning at noon on Friday, August 3. Winners to receive gift certificates. Speed Pool (Male & Female divisions) will be conducted throughout regular competition. On-site entry only. Entry fee to be determined. Players may enter as many times as desired.

Dress Code: Men and women may wear polo/golf-style or button-down-style shirts with a conventional fold-over collar. Men may also wear dress shirts with Henley collars or tuxedo shirts with appropriate formal necktie. Women may wear dress blouses. No t-shirts allowed. Men must wear long pants, either dress pants or neat, clean, casual pants including jeans. Women may wear dress pants, capri-style pants or neat, clean, casual pants including jeans. Women may also wear culottes, skirts or dresses of conservative length.

Men and women must wear neat, clean, close-toed shoes at all times. Should a player require a footwear exception for medical reasons, the player must provide a letter on official letterhead from his/her healthcare provider prior to the tournament.
