Note: Age determination date is August 2, 2007. Participants must include proof of certified average at the end
of the 2006 season or 21 games of the current season certified by a league secretary along with registration.
Proof of age must also be provided with either a driver's license or birth certificate.

Competition Rules: This tournament will be United States Bowling Congress Moral Support certified
(www.bowl.com). USBC award recognition will be automatically extended to all USBC members. USBC members
MUST bring their membership cards in order to bowl. Eligible nonmembers may qualify for USBC award
recognition by paying USBC associate membership dues before participation, applications will be available on-site.
All others may participate, however, they will not be entitled to USBC award recognition. Average verification
and USBC membership cards must be presented or purchased at the time of check-in
. Tournament
officials reserve the right to adjust or re-rate entries. Tournament officials reserve the right to make rulings for situations not covered by USBC rules. Decisions of the tournament officials will be final. If registering for doubles,
each athlete MUST register separately and list partner on the registration form.
Entrants will use their highest USBC average based on a minimum of 21 games for the previous season. If no average last year, use the highest current USBC average of 21 games or more, as of April 27, 2007, all others bowl in the scratch division. Rule 319a, item 2, Rule 319e and Rule 319d is WAIVED. Bowlers are responsible for verifying his/her own average, whether submitted by the bowler, the team captain or others. If submitted average is lower than required and results in a lower classification or more handicap, the bowler's score is disqualified. In case of a team of two or more bowlers, the averages will be combined to determine if the correct total is higher or lower that the submitted total. The decision of the tournament officials shall be final unless an appeal is made in accordance with Rule 329.

Competition Format: This tournament will offer scratch and handicap divisions for all events. Participants may bowl in both handicap and scratch divisions. Those with no established average must bowl in the scratch division. In the first round, all participants will bowl a four game qualifier with the low score being dropped (except for Pee Wees, who will bowl three games). One-half of each division’s field will advance to the semifinals. Should there be a tie, for the last place advanced, a one-game roll-off with handicap will be bowled. If a tie still exists, 9th & 10th frame roll-off will be held until the tie is broken. Qualifying scores will carry over to the semifinals. For semifinals, each bowler will bowl four games, except for Pee Wees who will bowl three games, of which the lowest will be eliminated. The top five bowlers in each division after four games will advance to the finals. Finals will be held in each division. The finals will consist of 5th place bowling against 4th place, the winner bowling against the 3rd place and so on. Handicap will be included in each game. If the event of a tie, 9th and 10th frames will be bowled until the tie is broken. Doubles will bowl a 3 game qualifier with the top 5 advancing to the finals. The finals will consist of 5th place bowling against 4th place, the winner bowling against the 3rd place and so on.

Scoring & Handicap: Each division will use a handicap computed on 90% of the difference between the bowler’s average and 180 for Juniors, 200 for Majors and 210 for Adults, Seniors & Super Seniors, 150 for Pee Wees. Divisions may be broken into smaller age groups at the discretion of tournament officials based on participant numbers. Averages will be based on the highest verifiable league average as of April 27, 2007. If no current average is available bowlers will use the highest verifiable average for the 2005-2006 season. All averages used shall be for the minimum of 21 games in one season. Those with no established average must bowl scratch. Average verification MUST be presented at the time of check-in. Tournament officials reserve the right to adjust, re-rate or refuse any or all entries. Decisions of the tournament officials shall be final. Tournament officials reserve the right to make rulings for situation not covered by the rules of USBC.
