Competition Rules: USA Hockey InLine rules (www.usahockeyinline.com) will govern competition. Each team
must have a minimum of six players (five skaters and one goaltender). State Games of America reserves the
right to cancel or combine divisions. Out-of-state teams must use the same exact team name from qualifying
State Games competition for verification purposes. Roster is limited to 13 players. Due to the length of time
between qualification and competition at the SGA, teams may replace up to 50% of the players on their rosters
to offset the loss of team members who cannot participate in the SGA. Replacement players MUST HAVE PARTICIPATED in the same sport in that state’s State Games in any qualifying year (2005, 2006 Summer or 2006,
2007 Winter). Each individual player will be registered by his/her coach and must sign the roster/waiver; if under
18 a guardian must sign the roster/waiver.

Competition Format: Games will consist of two 18-minute halves with a running clock, except in the last two
minutes of the game if there is less than a two-goal differential. There will be a five-minute, sudden-victory over-time
in all tie games and a three player shootout if the game is still tied after one overtime (playoffs only). One
time-out is allowed per team, per game. Tie-breakers will be determined by 1) points 2) head-to-head 3) goals
against 4) goal differential. All teams will be guaranteed a minimum of three games.

Dress Code: All participants must have protective and playing equipment required under the official playing
rules of USA Hockey InLine (www.usahockeyinline.com).
