General Guidelines: Out-of-state teams
must use the same exact team name from qualifying State Games
competition for verification purposes. Roster is limited to 16
players. Due to the length of time between qualification
and competition at the SGA, teams may replace up to 50% of the
players on their rosters to offset the loss
of team members who cannot participate in the SGA. Replacement
players MUST HAVE PARTICIPATED in the
same sport in that state’s State Games in any qualifying year
(2005, 2006 or 2006 Winter). Each individual player
will be registered by his/her coach and must sign the
roster/waiver; if under 18 a guardian must sign the roster/
waiver. Team coaches must complete a team entry form with
roster/waiver signed by each player.
Competition Format: USSSA
rules (www.usssa.com)
will govern this competition. Sanctioned teams MUST BE
members of USSSA.
Membership applications will be available on-site. State Games of America reserves the
right to cancel or combine divisions. Team will be guaranteed a
minimum of 3 games, weather permitting.
Dress Code: Steel cleats will not be permitted in any
division; no exceptions.
*The SGA has a NO REFUND policy.
