**Throwing Weights

Competition Rules and Format: The Official Rules of USA Track and Field (www.usatf.org) will govern competition.
This is a sanctioned event of the Colorado Association of USA Track & Field. Track participants 12 & under may
enter a maximum of 3 events, 13-18 can enter a maximum of 4 events. Competition will consist of final heats.
Preliminary heats will be run if necessary. Athletes participating in field events are expected to present their implements
and instruments to the Weights & Measures Official prior to competition. Athletes will be required to provide proof of age with a driver’s license, passport or birth certificate, upon request from the Track Commissioner.

Competition Schedule: (Tentative)
Thursday, July 30 - Opening Ceremony Activities
4:00 p.m. - Pre-Opening Ceremony Festivities begin at the World Arena
6:00 p.m. - Opening Ceremony Gates open
7:00 p.m. - Opening Ceremony begins

Saturday, August 1 - Youth Competition Only (All divisions for pole vault will take place SATURDAY ONLY)
8:30 a.m. - Start time

Sunday, August 2 - Adult Competition Only (All divisions for 1500 & 3000 meter racewalk will take place SUNDAY ONLY)
8:30 a.m. - Start time

CLICK HERE for a complete schedule.  The day will start at the specified time and run in the order of events, however this is a rolling schedule, once an event is complete, the next event will start.  Start times may vary dependent on the rolling schedule.  Please arrive AT LEAST 1 hour prior to scheduled start time.
