General Guidelines: USA Cycling rules (www.usacycling.org)
will govern competition. All participants must have
a USAC Mountain Bike license. Participants in the Beginner,
Sport, Single Speed and Maverick divisions may
purchase a 1-day license for $5. USA Cycling members must show
their USAC Mountain Bike license and picture
ID at check-in; annual licenses will be available on site.
Cyclists must wear their helmets during warm-up
and competition. Cycling Commissioner and/or SGW staff reserve
the right to cancel any portion of the race or
the entire race in the event of unsafe weather. There will be
male and female categories for each division
and each category will be scored separately.
Competition Format:
Junior Beginner, Junior Sport, Adult Beginner, Adult Sport : 1
lap (12.6 miles)
Junior Expert, Adult Expert, Adult Semi-Pro, Adult Pro, Single
Speed Class, Maverick Class: 2 laps (25.2 miles) *The SGW
has a NO REFUND policy.

Thursday , July 24 - Opening Ceremony Activities
4:00 p.m. - Pre-Opening Ceremony Festivities begin at the World
Arena
6:00 p.m. - Opening Ceremony Gates open
7:00 p.m. - Opening Ceremony begins Sunday, July 27
7:00 a.m. - Day of Registration opens; registration will close
30 minutes prior to start of each group.
8:00 a.m. - First race begins
