Colorado Springs Sports Corporation

The mission of the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation is to:

Attract, retain and support sports organizations and businesses

Support youth sports through the recognition of athletes and coaches and provide financial assistance to enable disadvantaged youngsters to participate in sports programs

Create and attract sporting events that contribute to the quality of life for citizens of the Pikes Peak region

Support the economy of Colorado Springs by promoting the region as a destination for sports business, competition and meetings.

In 1998, the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation established the Youth Sports Scholarship Program, further elevating its commitment to youth sports. By the end of 2005, the Sports Corp will have provided more than $150,000 in scholarships to area youth sports programs that utilize the funds to help defray the cost of participation in their programs for disadvantaged youngsters.
