The frenetic arrival of swimmer Michael Phelps at the Beijing airport
yesterday was a thing of beauty......Phelps was taken out a side door at the
terminal to avoid the crush of photographers and fans inside the facility
and onto a bus for transportation to the Olympic Village...the media caught
up to him as the bus was pulling away and got a brief glimpse of the

Let The Games Begin--and they did yesterday at the Beijing airport when some
U.S. cyclists arrived wearing black masks for protection related to the
pollution and it turned into a major dustup. Photos appeared worldwide, and
the athletes apologized today for any discomfort they may have caused the

during 13 Olympic Games, from Lake Placid (1980) through Salt Lake City
(2002) as well as Senior Communications Counselor in Athens (2004) for NYC
2012, the New York bid committee for the 2012 Olympic Games. He has
