The frenetic arrival of swimmer Michael Phelps at the Beijing airport yesterday was a thing of beauty......Phelps was taken out a side door at the terminal to avoid the crush of photographers and fans inside the facility and onto a bus for transportation to the Olympic Village...the media caught up to him as the bus was pulling away and got a brief glimpse of the American star and his new moustache(more)

Let The Games Begin--and they did yesterday at the Beijing airport when some U.S. cyclists arrived wearing black masks for protection related to the pollution and it turned into a major dustup. Photos appeared worldwide, and the athletes apologized today for any discomfort they may have caused the Beijing organizers(more)

USA fencers gave the Olympic Team a great start, sweeping the women's sabre event. Mariel Zagunis, Sada Jacobson and Becca Ward went 1-2-3 and heard the national anthem on the Beijing podium, with a proud President George W. Bush on hand for the ceremony…(more)
