Lodging service for the Rocky Mountain State Games is being

Admission/Ticket Information
Sports
Admission will be charged at the following venues: Basketball,
Gymnastics, Martial Arts and Swimming. Tickets
will be sold on-site only, Adults $5 per day; Youth (13-18) $3 per day;
Youth (12 & Under) Free.
For admittance into the Air Force Academy and Ft. Carson, a
driver’s license, vehicle registration and vehicle insurance
must be shown.

Athletes receive FREE
ADMISSION to all venues but all others will need to pay the
admission fee if applicable.
Opening Ceremony
Athletes receive FREE ADMISSION to the Opening Ceremony. Spectators
can purchase Opening Ceremony tickets at the following prices:
$5 for Youth (ages 13-18), $5 for Seniors (55+) and $8 for Adults.

Age Requirements
Age divisions vary from sport to sport. Participants must be
prepared to provide proof of age with either a driver's
license or birth certificate upon request from RMSG staff or
commissioners. Consult individual sport profile for specific
age requirements.

Athlete
T-Shirts/Medals
Athletes who register by July 21, 2006 are
guaranteed a t-shirt. T-shirts for individual sports will be
available for pick up on Friday, August 4 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00
p.m. at the World Arena, on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
at the World Arena and the Air Force Academy and Sunday from
9:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the World Arena and the Air Force
Academy.
T-shirts for team sports will be available for pick up on
Friday, August 4 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the World Arena.
Teams playing at the Air Force Academy can pick up their shirts
at the AFA on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Sunday
from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. All other team sports can pick up
their shirts at the World Arena on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. -
5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Team
registrations will include one additional shirt for the coach.
Participants MUST present their claim ticket or claim letter
to receive their T-shirt(s).
Individual medals will be awarded for 1st - 3rd
place in each division. Team medals for 1st - 3rd will be
awarded to all team members and 1 additional medal, for a coach,
will be awarded to the team.
Rocky Mountain State Games Staff and/or Sport Commissioners
reserve the right to combine and/or eliminate divisions/age
classifications if an insufficient number of entries are
received.

Conduct
Athletes and coaches are responsible for knowing, understanding,
and following the rules, policies and code of conduct for their
sport(s). Rocky Mountain State Games Staff and Commissioners
reserve the right to disqualify any participant or team from
competition for any of the following reasons: false
representation, use of alcohol and/or drugs, destruction of
property, rules infraction, unsportsmanlike conduct or
disorderly behavior.
Eligibility Requirements
A participant must be a resident of the State of Colorado for at
least 30 days prior to the first day of the competition they
wish to enter. In addition, students who are enrolled in a
Colorado college or university are eligible, as are U.S.
military personnel and their family members who are stationed in
Colorado. The Rocky Mountain State Games have been organized in
accordance with NCAA guidelines with some exceptions. Athletes
who have eligibility questions should check with their school
athletic administrator or coach. Any athlete with scholastic or
collegiate eligibility remaining must comply with rules
governing his or her scholastic or collegiate eligibility.
Entering More Than One Sport
Athletes may enter more than one sport but do so at their own
risk due to various competition formats and the possibility of
overlapping schedules. Participant entry forms, waivers and the
appropriate participant entry fee must be submitted for each
sport in which a participant wishes to compete. While we will
try to accommodate multi-sport entrants, we cannot guarantee
that schedules will accommodate your particular competitions. No
refunds will be made.
Inclement Weather
Outdoor sporting events are weather-dependent. Competition will
be conducted unless the Commissioners and/or Rocky Mountain
State Games Staff determine the weather conditions to be
potentially dangerous. There are NO refunds due to weather and
NO rain dates.
Insurance
It is expressly understood that the Rocky Mountain State Games
does not insure against, and accepts no responsibility for,
personal injury or property loss or damage. Each participant is
responsible for his or her own medical insurance and must sign
all waivers and releases on the back of the entry form. Those
participants under the age of 18 must have their parent/guardian
signatures on Rocky Mountain State Games waivers and, if
applicable, any sport-specific waiver.

Refunds
NO REFUNDS will be given due to cancellation because of
inclement weather or medical withdrawals. Exceptions will be
made only for the following: entries received after entry
deadline; sports or competitions reaching maximum registration
capacity; entries received after the maximum number of teams are
bracketed or if there are not enough teams or individuals to
form a division.
Transportation
Transportation will NOT be provided. Athletes are responsible
for providing their own transportation to and from their
competition site and the Opening Ceremony.
